Adopted as a young cat, I recently came back to Save-A-Pet because of a child’s allergies. I’m overall a pretty easy-going cat and you can often find me out and about in the cat room. I lived with another cat and with a large dog. I guess you can tell I’m a pretty confident girl. I enjoy high spots, always perfect to keep an eye on everything that is going on and if there is a play session about to begin, I’m more than happy to join in. I purr loudly and can also be quite talkative. Need a confident, someone to talk to or someone to just hang out with, I am all this and more!

She is about 14 years old, spayed, up-to-date on routine shots (incl. rabies), tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia and microchipped.

Returned because my family was no longer able to take care of me. I may be considered a senior girl but I still have plenty of energy to go for a walk or to sniff out a treat a mile away. Some may feel sorry for me or even think why get an older dog, but I don’t. After all, everyone gets old, does this mean that you are less of a person? I’m an affectionate and friendly girl and while I’m generally fine with dogs, I would prefer a home as your only little doggy. I did live with a prior family that had a dog but for the last 7 years, I was the only dog. I did well with their small child but I would prefer older kids, maybe even some that would inadvertently drop some food under the table…yeah, yeah I know I’m not supposed to beg but the only thing that I am really begging for is a new family.

She is about 13 years old, spayed, up-to-date on routine shots and rabies, heartworm negative and on preventative and microchipped.

November is Adopt A Senior Pet. Save-A-Pet believes that every day is adopt a senior but to make this month extra special for our senior residents, adoption fees for cats ≥ 10 years and dogs ≥ 7 years are waived. Check out all our young and senior residents at http://www.saveapetil.org/
